This small gilded glass sign was made for The Baronian Manufacturing Company in California USA in 2006. It employs matt finished gold and shading, mirror gilded-gold leaf, acid embossing and finger blending it also has small details of cut glass.

The background was glazed in Dragons blood red enamel which originally was purchased from Rick Glawsons Fine Gold Sign co. The red was laid down and when dry the background was blended from red to black giving the colour a deep maroon finish from the front. Some great colours and effects can be made using these glazes.
